Zimbabwe was the world’s 116th largest exporter of goods and 140th largest exporter of commercial services in 2022. Export values were $6.59 billion and $447 million USD respectively. Zimbabwe’s top export category was Fuels and mining products, followed by Agricultural products, and Manufactures. In 2022, Zimbabwe’s main export destination markets for goods and services trade were to South Africa, United Arab Emirates and Mozambique, with trade representing 64.96 per cent of GDP. In terms of imports, Zimbabwe is the world’s 125th largest importer of goods and 128th largest importer of commercial services. Import values were $8.65 billion and $1.32 billion USD respectively in 2022. Zimbabwe’s top import category was Manufactures, followed by Machinery and transport equipment and Fuels and mining products. Leading import partners were South Africa, Singapore and China. Zimbabwe is part of 6 different Regional Trade Agreements, including Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) and Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) – Accession of Egypt. |
