Trade in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan was the world’s 84th largest exporter of goods and 98th largest exporter of commercial services in 2021. Export values were 14.1 and 2.2 billion USD respectively. Uzbekistan’s top export category was manufactures, followed by fuels and mining products, and agricultural products. In 2020, Uzbekistan’s main export destination markets for goods and services trade were to the Russian Federation, China and Turkey, with trade representing 62.03 per cent of GDP. In terms of imports, Uzbekistan is the world’s 75th largest importer of goods and  largest importer of commercial services. Import values were $23.7 billion USD in 2021. Uzbekistan’s top import category was manufactures, followed by agricultural products and fuels and mining products.  Leading import partners were China, the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan. Uzbekistan is part of 4 different Regional Trade Agreements, such as Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), The Kyrgyz Republic – Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation – Uzbekistan.
