Malaysia was the world’s 24th largest exporter of goods and 38th largest exporter of commercial services in 2022. Export values were $352.09 billion and $31.68 billion USD respectively. Malaysia’s top export category was Manufactures, followed by Machinery and transport equipment, and Office and telecom equipment. In 2022, Malaysia’s main export destination markets for goods and services trade were to China, Singapore and United States, with trade representing 146.66 per cent of GDP.
