Ghana was the world’s 76th largest exporter of goods and 68th largest exporter of commercial services in 2022. Export values were $17.49 billion and $8.30 billion USD respectively. Ghana’s top export category was Agricultural products, followed by Manufactures, and Iron and steel. In 2022, Ghana’s main export destination markets for goods and services trade were to China, Switzerland and India, with trade representing 70.59 per cent of GDP. In terms of imports, Ghana is the world’s 83rd largest importer of goods and 64th largest importer of commercial services. Import values were $14.62 billion and $11.85 billion USD respectively in 2022. Ghana’s top import category was Manufactures, followed by Machinery and transport equipment and Fuels and mining products. Leading import partners were China, United States and United Kingdom.
