Armenia was the world’s 119th largest exporter of goods and 92nd largest exporter of commercial services in 2021. Export values were $3 and $1.6 billion USD respectively. Armenia’s top export category was fuels and mining products, followed by agricultural products, and manufactures. In 2020, Armenia’s main export destination markets for goods and services trade were to the Russian Federation, Switzerland and China, with trade representing 69.49 per cent of GDP. In terms of imports, Armenia is the world’s 117th largest importer of goods and 105th largest importer of commercial services. Import values were $5.4 and $1.2 billion USD respectively in 2021. Armenia’s top import category was manufactures, followed by fuels and mining products and agricultural products. Leading import partners were the Russian Federation, China and Iran. Armenia is part of 12 different Regional Trade Agreements, including Armenia – Kazakhstan, Armenia – Moldova and Armenia – Turkmenistan. |
