Albania was the world’s 114th largest exporter of goods and 72nd largest exporter of commercial services in 2021. Export values were $3.6 and $4.1 billion USD respectively. Albania’s top export category was manufactures, followed by fuels and mining products, and agricultural products. In 2020, Albania’s main export destination markets for goods and services trade were to Italy, Serbia and Spain, with trade representing 59.95 per cent of GDP. In terms of imports, Albania is the world’s 104th largest importer of goods and 95th largest importer of commercial services. Import values were $7.7 and $1.9 billion USD respectively in 2021. Albania’s top import category was manufactures, followed by agricultural products and fuels and mining products. Leading import partners were Italy, Turkey and China.
