In 2012, Bhutan’s main export destination markets for goods and services trade were to India, Bangladesh and Italy, with trade representing 75.92 per cent of GDP. In terms of imports, Bhutan is the world’s 164th largest importer of goods and 154th largest importer of commercial services. Import values were $1,220 and $163 million USD respectively in 2021.
